MSC Meraviglia, or “wonder” in English, is the flagship of MSC’s Meraviglia generation. With a gross tonnage of 167,600 the ship can accommodate 5,700 passengers. MSC Meraviglia is the first of two identical ships on order from STX France. In June 2017, the MSC Meraviglia was delivered and since then sailed parts of the Mediterranean and Western and Northern Europe. The new flagship of MSC Cruises has 33,000 square meters of space for public areas where guests can spend their time. The MSC Meraviglia also offers a number of technological innovations, such as near-field communication technology (NFC), that allow passengers to pay with their shipcards, smartwatches, wristbands or smartphones on board, open their cabins or locate their children. Thanks to its extreme maneuverability, the MSC Meraviglia can easily dock in almost every cruise port in the world, allowing guests to discover even more of Europe’s most beautiful destinations.
Staterooms
All 2250 cabins on the MSC Meraviglia are furnished very modern, equipped with a bathroom (shower and WC), mini bar, safe and Air conditioning. Standard cabins measure about 15 up to 18 square meters (inside and ocean view), 19 square meters (balcony cabin) and 28-38 square meters (suite with balcony). The MSC Meraviglia features cluster cabins for families travelling together. This new concept allows up to 3 passenger staterooms to be linked together and opened up. Guests can also experience a new level of luxury with the enhanced MSC Yacht Club, entirely self-contained with restaurants, a solarium with its own pool, a private lounge and fascinating suites with private whirlpool baths.

The main restaurants L’Olivio d’oro, L’Olive dorée and the Waves restaurant serve a mouthwatering blend of freshly prepared Mediterranean cuisine and international specialities in elegant surroundings. The Marketplace Buffet restaurant is an alternative to the main restaurants and is opened 20 hours per day. Furthermore the guests can enjoy Asian specialities in the Kaito Teppanyaki Grill as well as in the Kaito Sushi Bar. American delicacies are waiting for the guests in the Butcher’s Cut.
