LAUNCH OF “I CAN BELIEVE – MSC FOR UNICEF”

Geneva, 20 June – As the world marks World Music Day tomorrow (21 June), MSC Cruises and UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund, acting for the protection of children’s rights, have launched a new song performed by an Italian children’s choir called “I Can Believe – MSC for UNICEF”, to provide a soundtrack to all UNICEF awareness raising efforts on board MSC Cruises ships. STATEMENT REGARDING INCIDENT MSC DIVINA 18 JUNE

MSC Cruises regrets to report that a Mexican guest onboard MSC Divina went overboard yesterday (18 June) at approximately 5pm, when the ship was sailing in Brazilian waters between Fortaleza and Recife.

The innovative goal-based scheme recognizes management excellence that goes beyond the requirements of statutory rules and codes such as ISM (International Safety Management), ISPS (International Ship and Port Facility Security) and MLC 2006 (Maritime Labour Convention).
